Sprinkling

This picture was taken from the same spot as my last post. Where that shot was taken looking northward, todays photo looks Southwest.
In spite of recent heavy rainfall, the cranberry bog sprinklers were if full operation. Most of the cranberries here are grown for "Ocean*Spray".

LOW CLOUDS, HIGH WATERS

WE HAVE THE MOST AMAZING CLOUDS AND SKIES IN THIS TOWN.
THIS WAS TAKEN ON OCT 31st.
THE NORTH ALOUETTE RIVER AND AREA IRRIGATION DITCHES ARE RUNNING FAST WITH RECENT HEAVY RAINFALLS. ALSO, THE CRANBERRY FARMS ARE BUSY PUMPING OFF THE FIELDS AT THIS TIME. tHE RED HUTS HOUSE THE IRRIGATIOPN PUMPS AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE FARMS.

Fall Flowers

A splash of autumn colours. Our weather has been incredible, extended summer. Though the days are warm and sunny, the nights are cooler.

Riot of Colour

The hanging baskets around town are in their prime! Hanging from almost
every lamp post, they make our town feel like something from a post card.

North Bound

The Golden Ears Bridge, crossing into Maple Ridge from Langley. Even with the heavy, low clouds, the view is still magnificent.

Golden Ears Bridge

We have had a new bridge open, which crosses from Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows into Langley. Previously, the only local crossing of the Fraser River was by ferry which was often an hours wait.

Sky Friday Mist

So much mist, it is difficult to say where the sky starts and the land ends!

Can you spot the Great Blue Heron's nest?
