ABC Wednesday - K

K IS FOR KYLOE'S
A breed of long haired highland cattle.
K is for Kine. Plural for cows. This herd is in Maple Ridge. I dont know for certain that they are Kyloe, but they are definately kine.

One of my favourite animals, the cow.
So different from what we have here, but the gentleness is still the same.

They are just sweet that breed. I´d seen some in Sweden too. Very beutyful horns.

My father-in-law grew up in the Highlands of Scotland. I am sure he was friendly with kine such as these.

How cute and interesting are these! Never seen anything like it. I'd be a little afraid. Are they as docile as regular cattle?

Hello from Powell River, BC. Makes me think of "Hair in My Eyes Like a Highland Steer" by Corb Lund. You can see my k is for kayak here.

Beautiful capture... I think these are indeed 'Highland Cattle' perfect coats for the cold weather of the Scottish Highlands... very good Horns as can be seen here.

Love the way this one posed for you. The shaggy coat and long horns make him especially appealing.
