Hanging Around Downtown

The hanging baskets in the center of town are lush and fresh. The lack of hot weather agrees with small container plantings, which can tend to dry out quickly in the heat.

FOUND black cat

This fellow has made a home for himself in my back garden and deck. I livein the area of Greenwell and 122 ave. in Maple Ridge.

All black male short hair cat.

He arrived last week while we were away. We keep a dish of food out for one of our cats and he has been helping himself. He is very thin. Washes regularly and is very clean. Appears healthy but is quite thin.

He has a tatoo in his ear which was traced to a vet ib North Van. However they say this cliente has not been in their office for quite some time and their phone number is not in service.

He is so cute and friendly. Some body must be missing him.

I am thrilled to have had it selected. I Knew when I first took this shot that it was the epitome of what Maple Ridge is all about. I am thrilled that it has been used in this capacity!

I love all the paterns in this photo. The shingles and the paving stones keep the eye entertained in this shot.

Shipping Out.

Canoeing is a traditionally Canadian pastime.

Local boys strap the old canoes on and get set for a long weekend of paddling. This past week end, was Victoria Day in British Columbia.

A Row of Red

A row of red stables make an interesting contrast amongst the greenery. The clouds begin to gather over the Golden ears Mountains, making for a gorgeous sky.
