A few days ago, I woke up early and the sky was filled with cotton ball clouds which were lit up by the rising sun.

I believe you had a serious of cirrus and cirro-cumulus clouds there!! I typed in clouds in your google box and tried to match the descriptions which I studied once in my geography lessons ;)
