Caribbean Festival

Are we having fun yet?

People came early to get seats for this annual event. There were live Caribbean performers all afternoon, I love the steel drums. The main street was closed off to traffic. By noon, the place was thriving with people. Waiting for the show to start.

It looks like everyone is being civil and hoping to have fun. I hate to wait on parades or anything. Mother used to tell me to get there early. And I still do. Sometimes it pays off. I don't suppose any parade ever begins early and I don't think any festival begins before the appointed times. I like your photograph a lot because it shows the problems with waiting.

Best Wishes for a nice week,

The woman on the bench looks like she is having fun.
Did the performers have green and orange knitted hats on and dreadlockshanging out
The only culture in Oliver is yoghurt, but we do have music in the park all summer, I should get there for some pics.

At least those sitting are comfortable. Great human interest shot.
