Pottered

Our daughter and friend bought their Harry Potter books tonight and are having a sleepover to do a "read off". Its lovely to see them relishing the start of a new story. What is this spell that has the youth of our country mesmerized by a schoolboy. Maybe they all dream of having a little magic in their lives. Thanks to JK Rowling, that dream has come true in some small way through her very talented writing. You have to enlarge this to see the look of joy on my daughters face!

Harry potter has been some kind of a revelation all over the world indeed. I think there is no single country in world where, Harry hasn't created a spell on the children there & its really a wonderful work which brought smiles to so many faces all round the world.

Great smiles indeed!
Oh, so today is the day when it's out? I've read all the harry potter books out loud to my daughter (she was too young to read them on her own and we both enjoyed the exercise tremendously) but we usually get it a year later, when it comes out in French!!!

There is a spirit of joy that seems to shine in this room, that's for sure. Perhaps it is assisted by Harry Potter's story but I think it is there all the time.

Never read any of these but I suppose it’s nice that fairy tales have a place in our so called modern times. There's always room for good literature.

Nice shot!
