Maple Ridge has the nick name Horse Capital of Canada due to its high ratio of horses to people. Seen here is one of the nearby horse boarding stables. All bundled up for the cold. Do horses get cold feet? I havent been out in the fresh snow that arrived yesterday. My car is frozen shut. This was taken last month, but today we have even more snow than what is seen here and it is also a nice clear day.

Those horses probably need a good cup of hot cocoa right about now.
Nice shot and nice composition. I guess the horses feet don't get cold or we would see them in slippers.
Your horsies are softies, wearing coats. the tough horses in Oliver don't have coats and are out there tonight, minus 15c, no coats. My post for Dec 21 has pics of the horses with attiude http://outhousecapitalofcanada.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_outhousecapitalofcanada_archive.html
Oliver has the nick name Outhouse Capital of Canada due to its high ratio of Outhouses to people or Wineries
