45 rings

I enlarged this picture and counted 45 rings on one of the trees and it was'nt the largest one. Such beauty, cut down in its prime.
These logs were at the Pole Company. They are used for telephone pole and also for the construction of manufactured log cabins.
In the distance, on the upper right corner, there is a train loaded with logs.

I have pictures of those poles, I have shot them on a few occasions.

That is nonsence about using the trees from Stanley Park, they have firewood, this company have logs that can be used for buildings.

If they build something there, they will be using logs from a company like this and lie to the public and use all those nice donations that should have been given to childrens hospital or other worthwhile charity.

Rant..Rant..Rant...

You had a lot of patience to count the rings. I really liked the picture enlarged. Good textures and colors. I could almost feel the cold snow

You do live in lumber country. I wish only trees grown for cutting (or fallen from old age and weather problems) were used for these purposes and all the others were left alone!
